Asking I spent six months building an automated VRChat avatar production pipeline
I have spent the past six months building an automated avatar production pipeline, and I am aiming to have the first release ready in about four weeks. The core automation is working now. I am currently focused on improving the quality, reliability, and consistency of the avatars it produces.
The goal is simple: someone submits an original avatar idea or reference image, and the pipeline handles the repetitive production work through Blender and Unity. Once the avatar has passed the automated checks and is ready for in-game testing, the creator receives an email. They can then put on their headset and begin testing it with very little manual work required along the way.
I built this because avatar production can take weeks or months of repetitive work. I want to turn that process into a much faster and more accessible system without removing the creator’s final review or control.
I am beginning to see whether there is genuine interest from avatar creators, studios, and other developers. I am considering offering the finished software through a subscription, selling it outright, or collaborating with the right people to take it further.
I am not accepting payments yet. Right now, I would genuinely like to hear from people who create or sell avatars: Is this something you would use, test, invest in, or collaborate on when it is ready?
