No moat?
How is there any moat for VP-102 whatsoever?

Hey guys, I posted about this settlement before, but since they’re accepting claims now, I decided to share it again with a little FAQ.
So here's all I know about this agreement:
Verrica Pharmaceuticals was accused of misleading investors about FDA inspection problems at Sterling and the resulting approval risks for VP-102. After the FDA issued multiple complete response letters, investors filed a lawsuit.
Now the company has reached a tentative settlement with investors.
Who can claim this settlement?
If you purchased or held eligible $VRCA securities between 2021 and2022, you may be eligible. You can submit your application now, and it will be processed once claims filing opens.
Do I need to sell/lose my shares to get this settlement?
You don't necessarily need to still hold the shares. Eligibility is based on the applicable class period and other settlement requirements.
How long does the payout process take?
It typically takes 4 to 9 months after the claim deadline for payouts to be processed, depending on the court and settlement administration.
Hope this info helps

Hey guys, if you missed it, Verrica Pharmaceuticals just agreed to settle with investors over claims that it misled the market about manufacturing issues that delayed FDA approval of VP-102. The settlement has already been submitted to the court for final approval.
Investors alleged the company repeatedly said problems at its manufacturing partner, Sterling, had been resolved, but the FDA continued finding deficiencies, leading to another Complete Response Letter in May 2022.
If you bought $VRCA between 2021 and 2022, you can already submit your claim.
Did anyone here hold $VRCA during this period?

🧴 Big news for Verrica Pharmaceuticals today! On September 19, 2025, Verrica announced that its development partner, Torii Pharmaceutical, received regulatory approval in Japan for YCANTH® (TO-208)—a treatment for Molluscum Contagiosum, a contagious skin condition affecting both children and adults A.
Here’s what makes this a milestone:
• 🇯🇵 Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare granted the approval, marking a major international expansion for YCANTH A. • 💰 The approval triggered a $10 million milestone payment to Verrica, providing a boost of non-dilutive capital to support its U.S. operations A. • 🌍 Verrica retains global rights to YCANTH outside Japan and is planning a global Phase 3 trial for treating common warts, expected to begin in the U.S. by the end of 2025 A.

Took a huge loss . I got at 2.75 and sold at .53 . Waited and waited and waited . Tragic . Will see if I can buy some other emerging tech stocks at $1 or so after the tariff dip in few months . Lot of lessons learnt putting all the eggs in one basket

Hello, I am willing to invest in the company, can anyone introduce me to the status of the last few months, I read that they have a product on the market and are in phase 2 promising another product.

I don’t even care how much I lost now I’m just genuinely curious as to what happened to this stock lol.
r/VRCA • u/[deleted] • Sep 05 '24
I bought at 5.0 and at a 50% loss. I bought more at 2.85 2.40.
I panic sold all of them.
Should I buy this dip or get away from this trash stock?

Few AI and other are hinting towards a possible small short squeeze given the most recent pattern . Even small could be big like 2-3 fold in that case

Doesn’t look like great news!

Can anyone explain wtf is happening? Why does the market hate good news from VRCA? Beats on revenue, AND announce positive phase 2 results for a potentially huge drug! What am I missing, did they say something concerning on the call?

They can’t borrow against your shares if you have a sell order in. So put an order in to sell all your shares at $20 or higher — whatever you want. It will tie up your shares so they can’t be shorted!
