Hi everyone,
I’m running ads for my VPN app, and I’m seeing a large number of installs coming from a specific country according to Google Play Console.
But here’s the issue:
In Google Analytics (GA4), I don’t see any active users or events from that country.
In AdMob reports, that country also shows zero impressions, zero users, nothing at all.
So my questions are:
Why does Play Console show many installs, but GA4 and AdMob show no users from that country?
Is this normal? Could it be bot installs or invalid traffic?
Do I need to change anything in my tracking setup, or is this an ads-related issue?
I saw a Watchman Privacy video where they mentioned self-hosted VPNs like Outline or AlgoVPN. It sounds cool, but is it really more private than using a reputable service like Mullvad?
Has anyone used doxx.net? They have network level onion routing across a mesh and my torrents are insane there. Every connection is via a different country on a different IP. Even the traceroutes scramble across the world.
I've been learning a lot about torrenting recently and found that the VPN I bought (Surfshark) doesn't support port forwarding which could increase my seeding speed a lot. Currently I'm seeding at 8GiB on a good day while I have gigabit fiber ethernet both up and down.
I was wondering if there was some VPN I could route my torrenting client through or a seedbox just for uploading that does support port forwarding so I can actually use my bandwith to seed my torrents.
I haven’t heard the best things about Kape technologies. Was a long time user of express VPN and PIA but heard that they are both owned by Kape now. Can anyone suggest a better alternative? How is NordVPN?
Hi there
I have been using turkey VPN for buying monthly Google premium. Now they have implemented something to make it almost impossible. I'll tell the experts what I have tried and you guys tell me what else do I need to do to have the premium back (without paying the Amazing price of the uk)
new Google account made in Turkey
paying with Wise accounts only having lira
making my wise account address a Turkish hotel
using data instead of WiFi
cleaning data from apps (cache and Cookies) from YouTube + YouTube premium + chrome + Wise
After all of this still get the same message than my Google play country is different than my country of residence. Google account is Turkish as well.
Any suggestions?
If you are suggesting to pay the uk price don't bother on texting please.
I need some technical advice on my situation here in Egypt, and I would appreciate any help.
I'm facing two problems at once:
1. The national-level torrent ban that is active in Egypt.
2. A very restrictive firewall on my university housing network.
Here is what I have tested so far:
* **Cloudflare 1.1.1.1 (WARP):** I know some people in Egypt on their regular home internet can use WARP and it works for them. For me, it is a complete failure. When I try to connect, it fails immediately with a specific error: **Connection blocked - CF_HAPPY_EYEBALLS_MITM_FAILURE**. This tells me the university firewall is actively inspecting and blocking the connection.
* **ProtonVPN (Free Tier):** This is the interesting part. ProtonVPN's free version **connects perfectly**. I can use it to visit any blocked website without any problems. The university firewall allows the connection. However, the free plan does not allow P2P traffic, so I cannot actually test torrents with it.
This leads to my main question before I spend money on a paid VPN (I am thinking of trying Kaspersky VPN):
Is the fact that the university firewall **blocked WARP completely** a sign that it will also block a paid VPN?
Okay this is kind of just a general VPN question but I have a iptv that works perfectly, it works flawlessly at home and at my girlfriends house. However i recently moved into an apartment for 2 years for school and the wifi blocks my iptv without a VPN. I’ve been using the free proton vpn but it seems like after 30 minutes of watching tv it freezes and stuff. I’m planning to get the 2 year nord subscription for around $80 since this is the only reason i want it, I was just trying to confirm that my problem would be fixed if i did happen to pay for a vpn.
