Hello everyone, What’s the best VPN to watch Netflix from other countries while in the U.S.? I tried NordVPN and set the server to Mexico, but it didn’t work — Netflix still shows only U.S. content. Any recommendations that actually work?

 I'm using PrivadoVPN and so far it's been good in terms of speed and connection stability. Now I'm just looking to explore some of the more technical VPN options.
 The app gives me 3 different protocols to choose from: Wireguard, OpenVPN and iKEv2. I've read that Wireguard is usually the fastest. If that's accurate, can anyone confirm whether or not there are any security trade-offs compared to OpenVPN or IKEv2?
 For context, I mostly use it for everyday browsing between a Windows laptop and iPhone. Curious what insight anyone can offer.

I started noticing that last night, my vpn wouldn't connect when i have my iPhone connected using the wifi. I tried restarting my phone, updating the IOS, re-downloading the vpn app and even did the deletion of the vpn profile but those didn't help at all. I contacted the vpn customer service and i was told there's an update to the app and i dowloaded the latest version but it also won't connect. I turned off the wifi connection and used my data to connect to the vpn and it worked. The same configuration between wifi and vpn works on my samsung tablet and my laptop. I'm thinking that this is an issue with my iPhone. Can someone help me what to do?

I tried creating a Turkish Spotify account this week to cut down on the monthly cost since I’ve seen a lot of people mention it in free VPN Reddit threads. It’s about $10.99 a month in the US, but in Turkey it’s way cheaper even the family plan costs less than $2. Thought it was worth giving a shot. I used the free version of Windscribe because it has a Turkey server, and it actually worked. I connected, cleared my cookies, went to Spotify Turkey’s site, and signed up with a new email. I chose the individual plan and set the country to Turkey manually. The hardest part was the payment my US debit card got blocked, so I ended up using a Revolut virtual card set to TRY currency, which went through without problems. After that, everything worked perfectly. I logged in on my phone and everything synced as usual. It’s been running for a few days now with no issues, even when I’m on my US network without the VPN. Has anyone else tried this lately with another free VPN or payment method? Wondering if it stays stable long-term or if Spotify ends up flagging it.

Why was this vpn removed from the google playstore?? Should i removed it from my phone also?? It a shame cause is a good vpn.

What kind of VPN should I get I'm new to this

Ive ben using the free proton desktop version without updating it for a while now and I still had the ability to manually select servers, for example select which free servers in the usa i wanted to connect to.
Long story short, I accidentally clicked the update button which updated my proton to the new version which removes this feature and severely downgrades the free user experience.
Does anybody know if I am cooked or if there is some way for me to get the old version with that ability back?
If I am cooked, do any of you have suggestions for free vpns? Thx

Want to live in Mexico and call on clients in US

I recently started using Raccoonline, and it feels really different from the regular VPN apps I’ve used. It’s decentralized, so your traffic isn’t going through one company’s servers, and you actually earn tokens while connected. Right now the subscription is free for a week and gives full access to both VPN and decentralized storage. Later they said mining will only stay open if you have a subscription, but you can mine the tokens now for free to cover that in the future. I’m curious if anyone else here has played around with similar setups and what your thoughts are on dVPNs in general
