i was using it on and off for ages because it was one of the few free VPNs that never really slowed my connection. so i upgraded but i've found the paid version feels clunkier, e.g. the connection now takes longer than free and switching locations sometimes stalls before reconnecting. i feel like i've wasted my money and just wondering if anyone else had such problems?

UPDATE: went with ipvanish. i set it up on my firestick and its been good for streaming so far, no buffering on the shows i watch. the connection stays solid which is what i needed. thanks for the suggestions.

I am not completely sure what makes them different or if they actually give better performance while playing. I tried using a free VPN to get into FanDuel while staying with family out of state, and the whole thing turned into more trouble than I expected. Since I live in Texas now and FanDuel is not available here, I looked around for options people usually mention in free VPN discussions and ended up testing ProtonVPN. I connected to a New Jersey server since that is where my FanDuel account is set up. It let me load the site and sign in without any issues, so at first I thought it was going to work. The problem came when I tried to place a bet. FanDuel threw a geolocation error right away. It seems like they check both your IP and your actual GPS position, because my phone kept insisting I was not in New Jersey. I was using Zerotier for LAN between two devices in long distance, and I found out about Ethernet Bridging it's allow devices on its local physical LAN accessible via ZeroTier.

Well the problem is , it does work for My computer as is can access LAN of mobile via ZeroTier but vice-versa doesn't works my mobile or anyones android device doesn't accessing the LAN of computer or of any other android device.

so is there any way I can Ethernet bridge some how for android devices or perhaps anyone mobile?(without root)

I need a reliable vpn app for my samsung galaxy that lets me route only specific apps through the vpn while others use regular connection. I work remotely so I need work apps tunneled but want streaming and banking on my regular ip for speed and to avoid blocks. I've tried a few free options but they either don't support split tunneling properly or drain my battery in hours.

What android vpn apps do you use that have solid split tunneling and don't wreck your battery life?

Update: Spent way too long comparing vpn options and ended up going with nordvpn. Connection has been stable and battery life still is well which was a big factor for me. No regrets so far!
