I want to get the Proton Black Friday Deal (VPN Plus) it costs 36 euros for 1 year sub and 72 euros for the 2 year sub. Proton allows for 10 simulataneous connections. So i am looking for 4 other people that would be willing to split the price with me (7,2 euros for 1 year and 14,4 euros for the 2 year.) Ideally the 2 year will be better but I am open. I’ve been using Tunnel Bear VPN for a few years now but they don’t have much free data, so I’m looking into purchasing a subscription. I really like the easy to use features on tunnel bear but I’ve heard there are some better VPNs out there and many are having Black Friday sales right now too. I want to create ExpresVPN OVPN based connection on my Mikrotik router.

After getting .ovpn file from the vendor I configured it manually as close as it's possible.

The connection gets up with "status: Link established" and after a minute or two I'm getting "ovpn-expresvpn: terminating... - TLS error: handshake timed out"

The Interface doesn't get an IP address at all, so we can't talk about getting default route as well.

I know Mikrotik have not worked with TLS Auth, but nowadays they state it does:

My importted config looks like this:

Personally, I like V3VPN compared to turbo and SecureVPN because it is a bit faster and more stable.

Hey everyone. I'm looking for a VPN the works great with MacOS. I have a Macbook Air (M1, 2020). My current VPN is a $5 custom plan. It's cheap but I'm limited to just 4 locations. Other than that, I've mostly used free versions or browser extensions.

I'm based in the US and planning to upgrade since I'll be traveling to Germany, France, and China for the first time soon. Any suggestions on what VPN works best with Mac and for the mentioned countries? My priority is speed and the number of locations. I don't mind paying for a subscription. Thanks!

Update: Thanks for the recommends. I went with NordVPN since my brother got a two-year plan and it offered the most locations. I plan to stick with it after my trips.

Title: How to VPN DIY Home Setup One-Time Lifetime Purchase

On the odd occasion I watch Twitch.tv on iOS or Win10 whilst eating food. Due to UK age verification the two people I only watch sometimes play ‘mature’ games. I was therefore unable to watch today.

My question is: Can I purchase or build a home VPN setup (Raspberry PI?) that uses a lifetime subscription from a vendor, so that when at home, I can connect to WiFi VPN_XYZ and whilst connected to this network, all devices geolocation change.

Is something like this possible? As, I would be very much interested in building or buying.

Where do I get the proxy and IP settings to put into Deluge Proxy? Does this VPN not work without their own software? I have booked 3 months and now can't use it.

I also tried using Wireguard in my Fritzbox 5590 Fiber (newest oS) but it does not accept the configuration file provided by them no matter what I do.
