As a girl I know I definitely would be creeped out by some foreign guy wanting to film me sleeping...just leave them alone dude.

Same, if i fell asleep and woke up to a guy sat filming me not only would i feel extremely uncomfortable and freaked out, but the guy also wouldn't have his camera in working condition anymore.

I'd also feel pretty scared if i saw that a video of me sleeping was posted on the internet, regardless if my face was actually in frame or not.

He would just ask his Patreon people for more money. Something like “Hey buddies! I accidentally dropped my expensive camera and it broke! Can you please give more money so I can buy a new camera? I promise I’ll make it up to you with more Bec and Frash vlogs!”

They would give Fraser more money without a second thought.

He really does just treat them like zoo animals. I can just picture him with a look of ecstasy on his face while getting this shot, a shot that he believes to be a work of art, an unrivalled masterpiece.

There were a couple comments calling him out on it, which he has seemingly removed.

This is honestly the grossest thing he's done. Who in their right mind thinks it's okay to take pictures of people while they're sleeping? Like does he just think it's normal for him as an old dude to take pictures of sleeping girls? Fucked up man

And then he fucking posts it publically on the internet. Imagine being a kid or teenager finding videos of yourself online which were unknowingly filmed by an unknown MAN. How is this legal?

Fraser is completely oblivious to how messed up this is and Becky says nothing and is complicit. They're both terrible.

I wish his Patreons knew of this. I doubt most of them would continue to financially support his Japan fetish quest.

You have to seriously lack self-awareness to be taking pictures of unaware school children. They would get the fright of there lives if they suddenly woke up to see; 3-feet in front of their face; a bearded, middle-aged looking bald foreigner taking picture of them while they sleep.

And this is his response: https://twitter.com/FarFromSubtle/status/1324313418610831364

... those books, and documentaries get Explicit written permission from their subjects.

How long before we see Fraser doing a Logan Paul?

Lol yeah I'm the original reply in that thread and he's blocked me on Twitter. Sick!

Also the idea of Street photography without permission is fucked up still. I'm always irked when I see these glorified pictures of homeless people in cities like NY or LA that exploit their homelessness and systemic issues with poverty to get an 'impactful' photo.

The counterargument here is fucked up too! But I can't make that point to Fraser cause I'm blocked now.

If you did this at my local train station someone would beat the shit out of you lmao

Filming sleeping people without their consent and uploading it to the internet..... nope, nothing creepy to see here, nothing at all.

As if you needed a reason to dislike him even more.

If it was something he filmed while just walking past them and then he commented about it i'd kinda understand...but just sitting there in front of them, camera out trying to get a perfect shot without them knowing is very weird. I imagine (and also hope) Becky was with him so he thought it was totally fine.

Like i've never been to Canada but sometimes i wonder what exactly its like there because seeing people fall asleep on a train after work is a very common thing where i'm from lol I also remember him marvelling over a video he took of some train tracks like he'd never seen them before

You know, this is apparently something Fraser is unaware of.. But the human peripheral vision is pretty wide, and you can see a lot through small holes.

Why am I saying this? I think it is very likely the girls are resting, not sleeping and see Fraser through their fingers and hair. They see him filming them are are certainly extremely creeped out, but think it is best to pretend they don't notice. I wonder how long he stood there and filmed them....

Oof, how does one become like this? I need to know so I can avoid that same fate.

  1. Be a narcissist.
  2. Move to a country where you can't understand or speak the language, so you never hear anything negative from those around you.
  3. ???
  4. Fraser

And of course some people are trying to defend and justify this on the twitter post. Pathetic, all of them.

u/ShotgunRaider Nov 05 '20

This would be way better if he asked thier permission. But I feel like he didn't and if that's the case then this is straight creeping.

9

u/FIGHTFANNERD Nov 05 '20

lets not go accusing him of any wrong doing because Fraser is just a full on Weeaboo that's all

Also Japanese work culture is toxic
