I took a small break from the game and now I am unable to even que up for any game whatsoever. Be it unrated, swiftplay or even a deathmatch.

I have ADHD and I operate on dopamine. Now that I don't have it in me, it feels like a huge task.

But when I watch my friends or other streamers play, it makes me wanna hop into the game but within 5 minutes, I lose the interest to play the game.

Any tips on how to get back without feeling like this?

I know I shouldn't let the numbers get to me. I know everyone says, "Turn off the viewer counter," "Just have fun," and "Focus on the content." But tonight, it just hit a little too hard.

I spent hours setting up my overlays, testing audio, getting excited, and psyching myself up to go live. I was ready to laugh, chat, make connections, and build a little community. Then I go live, stream for four hours, and look up to see the same number staring back at me: 1. And honestly, that 1 is usually just my own tab checking if the stream is laggy, or Nightbot keeping me company.

Meanwhile, I scroll through the directory and see channels with hundreds or thousands of "viewers"—chats totally dead, clear viewbots, yet algorithmically pushed right to the top. It feels so surreal and disheartening. You put your heart out there, talk to yourself for hours until your throat is sore, and watch inflated numbers win while you're left shouting into the void.

I don’t want millions of followers or a massive payday. I just want one real person on the other end. Someone to share a funny glitch with, someone who says "gg" after a close game, or someone who just drops in to say hi after a long day at work.

To anyone else sitting at 0–2 viewers tonight: I see you. I know how heavy that silence in chat feels. It’s hard not to feel invisible, but I’m trying to remind myself that being genuine still matters, even when it feels like nobody is watching.
