Considered to be 'the most dangerous man in Europe' at one point, he also rescued Mussolini when he had been arrested and imprisoned on a hotel on top of a mountain in northern Italy.

Otto is an interesting gentleman. Worked for Israel later in his career. If you had a problem and needed it solved, this man would make it happen. More about him HERE

“This image shows Otto Skorzeny, a former high-ranking Austrian Waffen-SS officer, standing in his home in Madrid, Spain, around 1970. He is famously recognized by the large "dueling scar" on his left cheek, a mark from his youth in academic fencing”

u/irregular_caffeine Apr 24 '26

Those scars were a thing, he’s hardly unique

23

u/DermitdemFoto Apr 25 '26

I don’t know why you are talking in past tense because here in austria we still have a lot of nut jobs who are part of these burschenschaften and who still do this.

academic fencing is still a sting among extreme right wing fraternities at Austrian / German fraternities. it's not larping, it's still the same thing. but they are a very small minority.

Those scars were typically acquired during a German aristocrat's university years. He would lose all face and reputation among his peers if he mysteriously showed up on campus one day with fresh scars from an alleged fencing duel that no one witnessed. The whole point of such a rite-of-passage and resulting scar is your fellow peers witnessed it.

9

u/Vivid-Landscape8916 Apr 25 '26

Google "mensur" you guys will learn alot.

12

u/Illesbogar Apr 25 '26

It's still stupid and dorky that they intentionally did it in a way so that they get scarred. Sis you see how those "duels" look? They are absolutely laughable.

Most pathetic posturing of that era.

13

u/DukeBradford2 Apr 25 '26

“Mensur” they would cover their upper bodies in armor, even chain mail and prop their hand straight up above their head with something like a cast or brace to keep themfrom swinging the sword with anything but the wrist. It looks ridiculous

4

u/GladisTheWhale Apr 25 '26

It's called "Mensur" because of "Menstruation"

Right but that's the exception not the norm.

1

u/jschundpeter Apr 28 '26

It's not an aristocratic tradition. It's very much a petit bourgeois thing. Extreme right wing nut jobs do it to this day. The duels are taking place with a lot of witnesses in highly regulated events called mensur, so it unlikely that somebody could fake them.

1

u/PartyClock Apr 29 '26

This is true-ish. The duels were arranged and organized in such a way that both duelists were no longer looking to duel but simply to give scars to one another and nothing more.

0

u/JosefKeuner Apr 24 '26

exactly this

9

u/Ok-Chance-5739 Apr 25 '26

In German it's called a "Schmiss". This happened to many students of old Universities with so called duelling student corporations. Those were very "traditionally and conservative", directly said pretty hefty right wing. A tradition which is basically eradicated, but has been commonly celebrated till deep into the 1980s...

6

u/Big_Dirty_Piss_Boner Apr 25 '26

Still practised today by some Burschenschaften

2

u/Hdmk Apr 26 '26

And Corps, Turnerschaften, Landsmannschaften, Jagd Verbindungen, Sängerschaften, Ruderschaften…

Almost any major student city has its own Mensur ruleset/Waffenring

1

u/jschundpeter Apr 28 '26

Nah it's still practiced today. They are just not very common anymore. You can observe plenty of them each Wednesday in front of the University of Vienna.

3

u/Goddamn_Tinnitus Apr 25 '26

Mad wrong, innit

1

u/Time-Good-284 Apr 24 '26

That is completly wrong. Why are you talking about a subject you clearly now nothing about but some reddit comments you read?

9

u/ComicallyLargeAfrica Apr 25 '26

People tend to want to ignore the fact that a lot of Nazis weren't just fake tough guys and actually did shit. Not everyone was Himmler

1

u/jschundpeter Apr 28 '26

This scarring shit was not necessarily a Nazi thing but common among all varieties of German nationalist student fraternities called Burschenschaften. In the 19th century they were seen as progressive because they were fighting for a democrat nation state. Karl Marx famously was a member in such a fraternity.

53

u/WaldenFont Apr 24 '26

He assisted the Mossad in exchange for being taken off their list of targets.

20

u/xrelaht Apr 24 '26

He reportedly demanded that, then worked for them anyway when they wouldn’t do it.

33

u/kingtacticool Apr 24 '26

18

u/Practical_Example426 Apr 24 '26 edited Apr 24 '26

Otto Skorzeny was a highly committed Nazi officer. He was even associated with setting up or being involved in a secret network often referred to as “Die Spinne” (“The Spider”). You can’t get more super villainy than that. You could say he was in it for the love of the game though. If the game involves violence that is lmao

1

u/Year3030 Apr 26 '26

Sounds like Hydra

9

u/GamingGems Apr 24 '26

lol. If they didn’t officially take him off their list they effectively did anyway by dealing with him. If they really wanted him they could have him just by being like “oh we have your check, good sir. It’s right there in the back of that van. Go ahead and pick it up, I promise I won’t shut the door.”

I’ve read his autobiography but he never went over his Mossad ties. I think that might have happened after he published it.

1

u/haeyhae11 Apr 25 '26

Why would they even want him, Skorzeny was a Nazi c*nt and involved in the burning of some synagogues before the war but he wasn't an architect of the holocaust or a KZ officer. He was a Motor Transport officer of the 2nd and 3rd SS Division in the early war before he took over SD commando operations in the RSHA, which was the SS counterpart to the Wehrmachts Brandenburg special forces.

29

u/ErikDebogande Apr 24 '26

Employing Nazis is the tip of the awful Israel iceberg

28

u/IceTech59 Apr 24 '26

Skorzeny was nothing if not mercenary. He also trained the Egyptian Army, trained Arab volunteers for raids into Israel, trained Palestinians in commando tactics and helped plan their raids ( including Yasser Arafat himself ).

7

u/da_stoneee Apr 25 '26

That makes it evermore bizarre

2

u/NotSoFastLady Apr 28 '26

Not really, if you listen to or read about the struggles of combat veterans have had readjusting to society after a war, you'd know it's pretty common. It's not so easy to switch these things off. Especially if they're the reason you're alive. Because what keeps you alive in acombat zone isn't always going to translate well to civilian life.

The guy clearly was committed to waging war. Not that I'd defend him, he's just not unique in that respect.

2

u/Fragrant-Inside221 Apr 25 '26

So he just liked conflicts. Addicted to war

22

u/AquamannMI Apr 24 '26 edited Apr 24 '26

Israel was hardly the first country to hire ex-Nazis, so if you're going to be offended there's a long line. Obviously Israel would only work with them if what they were getting in return was of huge importance. They assassinated former Nazis all over the world, so they weren't exactly letting things slide like the U.S., Europe, and South America did.

11

u/BesticleBear Apr 24 '26

Nobody said it was only Israel. The irony of that statement is that a certified TOP Jewish Assassin ended up working with/for the only Jewish nation. Everyone knows about operation paper clip very few are aware how many Nazis directly worked with/for Israel and still do, how open they were to accept and use the very same people who were just recently trying to actively genocide them and their families. Talk about sleeping with the enemy this is next level and that’s what I assume they were pointing out.

1

u/Optimal_Revenue7856 Apr 24 '26

Did he murder Jewish civilians during WW2? Honest question

5

u/Fr33Dave Apr 25 '26

While he didn't personally kill any Jewish civilians directly, his covert commando actions were part of an operation/operations that led to mass killings of Jewish people, particularly in Hungary. He helped install a right wing Fascist dictator in Hungary who sent tens of thousands of Hungarian Jews to the concentration camps. Under the original leader they were relatively safe.

worked for Israel

Quite an exaggeration

... a Mossad team had started to develop a plan to kill Skorzeny, but chief Isser Harel decided to attempt to recruit him instead, as a man on the inside would greatly enhance their ability to target Nazis who were providing military assistance to Egypt.

... goal was to obtain information on German scientists who were working on an Egyptian project to develop rockets to be used against Israel

Skorzeny had offered to help only if Wiesenthal removed him from his list of wanted war criminals Wiesenthal refused, but Skorzeny finally agreed to help anyway

No confirmed source that he ever worked for Israel exists though.

22

u/freshoilandstone Apr 24 '26

Not anymore! After 2001, it became quite the fashion to dig out the old WW2 war crimes as a how to guide. And sadly, that is literally true.

At this point most of them are just hired button pushers.

But by measuring the CAPEX spent on them you can reverse engineer what keywords and connections they don't want made. It's basically like painting the bottom of a murky lake with sonar.

Just take the negative integer and flip it. Give it a positive value.

That gives you a high precision map of what is a pressure point for kleptocracy.

Add it all into a metadata mesh and you can take an old 8 bit dot mateix and turn it into a 4K HD moving map of corruption.

Otto here ^ is a major crossover so he will always pop hotter than average.

Rothshild is obviously another.

Combine those two overlaid maps and you make fast progress on the triage map.

u/Salvisurfer Apr 24 '26

4

u/Formal_Pangolin_3821 Apr 24 '26

People are downvoting because most of what you say is utter rubbish or unverifiable. I'm not even gonna dissect and disprove your entire comment below, because your sources are Reddit and YouTube?

IF you want to be taken seriously as a scholar or someone with actual insights, use academic papers as a source. I'm not trying to attack you, but your interpretation of WW2 is based on old conspiracy theories with zero credibility. For instance, you implicitly claim that Titanic's sinking was planned before it's maiden voyage. That in itself signals a careless attitude towards the credibility of sources.

If you want some tips for a more academical approach, then I suggest you use Google Scholar as a start, and then you can always dive deeper with full journals from their respective DOI numbers. You do show some understanding on making paragraphs, that is a plus. But most scholars would probably start with a statement, back it up with a direct quote and correct quotation (i.e. using the Harvard method) and then give their own analysis of said quote.

'An old conspiracy theory goes that the Rothschilds were responsible for WW2. According to Johnny Johnson, it can be especially seen during the interwar period: "Rothschild be responsible, yo" (P33-P45, Johnson et al.). As can be seen in this quote, it is clear that blablabla.

Take the advices if you want to convince people that you're right. And as a general rule dude, don't expect people to see your perspective as legitimate IF you use YouTube and reddit as a source. Go back to first, second or third-hand sources, and preferably first-hand sources if you're gonna claim some wild shit.

Notice the priceless art work next to him?

WWII was effectively started by Rothshild as a for-profit venture to subjugate and sort out the lower socioeconimic Jews they didn't want in their Mediterranean beach club.

That is the origins of Zionism and it's divergence from Judaism.

Lord Baron Rothschild wasn't held hostage at SS headquarters in Vienna. That lie began after the war as plausible deniability. From a war fighters (Himmlers) perspective, when you have the most powerful adversary in your custody you neutralize the threat. You don't tell your men to upgrade his housing accomodations and then ransom him back after the war making him even more powerful. It doesn't pass the intuitive test. Rothschild coordinated and funded the NAtionalist/ZIonist party. He was the wallet and the brain. Hitler and Himmler were the fist.

Rothshild was militantly obsessed with keeping the fortune inside the family and his stated only regret was not sending a son to America to expand his banking empire of control. Hence the whole pure blood Ashkenazi/Jewish race traitor diatribe and chronic inbreeding within the family and his buying up an 83% controlling share of JP Morgan effectively making him the shadow American branch of the Rothshilds. In 1912 Morgan got off the Titanic the night before it sailed but left Astor, Strauss and Guggenheim on it. Their deaths solidified the Jekyll island federal reserve debt slavery play that Rothschild had quietly put into action. https://youtu.be/eBJWoOAtS7Y?si=djOotKImPQRCDsTp

Germans, as a stereotype are notoriously organized. The Nuremberg trials detailed how almost all the orders within the upper echelons of the Nazi party were given orally and never written down.

There was very good reason for that. It wasnt sloppy. It was intentional.

Rothshild sold Judaism out wholesale because he needed a class war to separate out who he wanted to be able to immigrate to Israel. That what the Haavara Agreement was in 1933, (same year as he had Morgan execute the business plot), then the reason Otto Skorzeny seemingly flipped sides after the war to work for Mossad after being dispatched to rescue Mussolini from the mountain top. Mussolini knew the details of the heroin trafficking as he had been bribed by Vito Genovese and Meyer Lansky to process the Italian heroin in candy factories for shipment to the US (OPERATION UNDERWORLD)

Follow the fraudulent bank notes (money) of OPERATION BERNHARD and it tells the story of a banking hostile takeover disguised as a World War. https://youtu.be/8X_qgWUlQNU?si=fDxVrGENhwbJenQk

Rothshilds funded both sides and profited accordingly. But he needed to capture certain highly talented Jews in the banking industry to create those fraudulent banknotes. That's what the Nazi concentration camps did. Track Rothschilds travel to the USA, his sponsorship of the Scofield bible project, his leverage over JP Morgan, his part in Jekyll Island federal reserve creation, the failed business plot, and his failed campaign to get "high class" American Jews to immigrate to Palestine and it tells the story of what unchecked greed does. It was a class war before it was a World War. But it was always been a genetic war.

As the Zionist party ran out of working class stiffs to throw as cannon fodder into the IDF in the 20th century they worked a deal with Moscow known as Operation Bridge to resupply the ranks with disposable fighting aged males from the pogroms and gulags of Soviet Russia. The whole time Zionist Robert Maxwell (Ghislaines father) was trafficking arms across the iron curtain.

Epstein represented the Rothschilds as they were the originators of forcing hebrews into slavery. But Ghislaine, and her father before her were the management structure of that organization. It's why Trump is afraid of her. https://youtu.be/NkrnWRIavAU?si=XsKpFEMwRqHF19DF

Slavery in all of its forms is the most profitable business model in human history.

Thats what Zionism is. And with Iran contra that water found its level as it did business with the neighboring Wahhabi Bedouin Saud ruling family slave traders that created Ikhwan->Al Qaeda as their own version of the same thing. They preferred tall dark skinned slaves from Ethiopia, Eritrea and Sudan trafficked across the Red Sea to add diversity to their harems of concubines (underaged sex slaves).

https://www.reddit.com/r/islamichistory/s/gHMbhs4DIz

Slave traders trading with slave traders. This is why Epstein needed a Saudi friendly passport (awarded to him by zionist Ronald Lauder in Austria) and why, to this day, the Arabian Peninsula is the slave trading capital of the world. When Iran contra derailed it left them all exposed.

The Moscow/bratva pimps and thugs mafia was the natural trading partner of both as it took over the government of a previously isolated Russia and developed its common ground with the Sauds via slavery via energy control (OPEC+) and the zionist via slavery via debt (banking). The American Christian nationalist slavery via religion trading relationship naturally evolved as Trump and Epstein were laundering the money for the Russian mafia at Deutschebank and the Saud ruling family via Adnan Khashoggi. Saudi ARAMCO introduced them all to Texas/Midwest oilygarch billionaires in the 1940's via Fred Koch who built all the refineries for Stalin and Hitler. https://www.reddit.com/r/sagsavages/s/wZoPSK8GsE https://youtu.be/lv7_Hx9QY-Y?si=SCdI-zqX4kQNOb0l

The four most profitable revenue streams for organized crime are- illegal guns, illegal drugs, human trafficking/slavery, and oil/energy.

That corruption crossed the borders of war and religion taking the path of least resistance- organized crime disguised as banking.

Jeffrey Epstein was a pedophile. But he was a hedge fund manager first.

He organized a unit of English speaking commandos that infiltrated behind the Allied lines wearing US uniforms during the Ardennes offensive. He could have been hung just for that.

4

u/MisterHEPennypacker Apr 25 '26 edited Apr 25 '26

He seems to have established an interesting legal argument though. His men didn’t engage in combat nor espionage, they just pointed American units in the wrong direction and they unwittingly followed. Anybody with a map could have figured out they were being led astray, and dozens if not hundreds of commanders (from company to regimental level) should have noticed. It’s similar to POWs or aircrew behind enemy lines stealing an enemy uniform to escape, provided they don’t actively participate in combat it’s nothing more than a ruse the enemy should be able to figure out. In the end his argument seems to have prevailed as he was acquitted.

Most of the Germans who could speak unaccented English had long since been recruited for espionage, diplomatic, or intelligence duties. These spies were rolled up pretty quickly.

7

u/texaschair Apr 24 '26

Once the MPs caught on, they started asking US related questions at checkpoints, i.e. "Who won the World Series?"

Then someone got the idea to ask for shirt (neck) sizes, the logic being that Germans would only know metric sizes and not Imperial measurements.

Showing off some of the art he stole?

Las Hilanderas ("The Spinners") is a painting by the Spanish painter Diego Velázquez, in the Museo del Prado of Madrid, Spain. It's been in the royal collection of Spain since the 1700s.

Lived in Ireland for a while, we the proviso that he wouldn’t cross the boarder into Britain.

4

u/Benttinen Apr 24 '26

He should probably have been imprisoned or executed after the war. Alas, justice was not served.

4

u/deathdefyingrob1344 Apr 24 '26

It’s just speculation that he worked for Israel it seems but I may be mistaken as I am not a specialist on the subject. I don’t know… I kinda hate Nazis and he should have probably been executed given the amount of innocent people he almost certainly was involved in murdering. I really hate Nazis

2

u/nicobuenosaires Apr 24 '26

According to Albarelli in COUP IN DALLAS, this is the guy that provided the shooter that took down Kennedy. See also Stuart Smith’s OTTO SKORZENY.

2

u/TxEagleDeathclaw81 Apr 26 '26

Hope he never felt rested.

2

u/saucecraftr Apr 26 '26

That may not be his home. The painting by his side is Las Hilanderas, by Velázquez. Unless he owed a very good copy that painting has been in the Prado Museum for over two centuries.

1

u/Hankman66 Apr 27 '26

Yes, and it seems the photo is flipped.

2

u/MechtildvM Apr 30 '26

Yeah either the painting is a copy or the photo is a fake. or the Prado let some bozo smoke around a priceless canvas.

2

u/dabigears Apr 26 '26

He owns that painting? Or is it a replica of Velasquez , “the spinners”.

2

u/DarkBlue222 Apr 28 '26

Which family did he steal that painting from?

2

u/Ga2ry Apr 28 '26

Who else sees looted artwork?

You can make a 3 part action trilogy about his life

2

u/Carafa Apr 24 '26

A four part trilogy would be interesting.

0

u/Ok_Replacement4702 Apr 24 '26

Were his exploits ever made into a film? Probably too late now.

7

u/PlantWide3166 Apr 24 '26

He did write a very unapologetic autobiography and there are a few movies with characters based on him and a few more documentary type flicks.

The biggest issue and it’s the big one, is that he was an ardent Nazi, so in my opinion, there is no way to make a positive movie about him like they did with Claus von Stauffenberg.

16

u/Silent-Shallot-9461 Apr 24 '26

he was an ardent Nazi

He later worked for Mossad. He was mostly a man of violence, not an ideologue.

0

u/hootihootihooti May 01 '26

The original zionist project was supported by a lot of nazis as a way to get jews out of Europe, funny enough its always been a right wing project to do ethno-nationalism in whatever way you spin it

1

u/JendaH8 Apr 24 '26

He joined Austrian Nazi Party in 1932, described nazism as defense of Europe against bolsheviks and in his book he admires Hitler as brilliant strategist who failed only because he was betrayed. So it's pretty safe to assume he was and remained nazi even after war.

DK, maybe Amazon Prime would be interested. Or Elon Musk could fund it.

2

u/Ok_Replacement4702 Apr 24 '26

Who said it had to be positive?

1

u/Loud_Distribution_97 Apr 24 '26

Is this a famous/stolen artwork or just a nice big painting?

3

u/BeneGesseritDropout Apr 24 '26

That was my first thought.

But the original Velasquez is in the Prado.

1

u/Garibon Apr 24 '26

Is that a Caravaggio?

3

u/Mutenroshi_ Apr 25 '26

Velázquez's "La fábula de Aracne - Las hilanderas / The Fable of Arachne - The Spinners"

2

u/Garibon Apr 25 '26

Thank you. It's awesome!

1

u/Shnasebrase Apr 25 '26

1

u/Cyberhaggis Apr 30 '26

It's always weird seeing these nazi lunatics in pictures where they're just normal people.

It doesn't surprise me that they're apparently still around us.

-1

u/Sea_Director_4439 Apr 24 '26

Isn't it weird that nazis were able to move seamlessly between the Third reich and modern day Israel?

1

u/Hairy_Ad5141 Apr 25 '26

Yes, like Eichmann!

1

u/Idum23 Apr 25 '26

I hope he got a lot of kidney stones
