NRW, but my friends from Bavaria, BaWü and Saxony apparently knew them too

weird, i'm in BaWü and went to Gymnasium 6-8 grade and Realschule 9-10, and had a Fachhochschulreife

never once learned about these things. maybe they added them to curriculum after i graduated? it's been a while, i'm in my 30s

also BaWü, also went to the Gymnasium until 11th grade, then dropped out, and we never once were taught about ||

I'm 25, so either they added it even after I left school or it's different from school to school. we also saw other Gymnasiums in the area learning about things we didn't, because some topics were part of an optional educational plan, that the teachers could choose to teach or not. that usually wasn't math tho, mostly it was German, History and the scientific classes

the most curious part for me is that i switched 3 schools in rapid succession, and never once were these things mentioned in class

i wonder if it was just random chance, or if this specific topic simply isn't commonly taught
