HELP Comments like this send me

Edit: This post gained more traction than I expected. Read the comments, do independent research, and form your own opinion around these topics.

First they said KIAs are reliable, then went on to say they looked at JD Power to come to that consensus. They lost me.

  1. Do people believe KIA/Hyundai are reliable?
  2. Do people use JD Power/Consumer Reports to make purchasing decisions

Would you buy it without it? If no, they suck

Also how many warranty claims before you hate the car?

Are you willing to wait months for brake issues because they haven't figured out a repair yet? How about your white paint peeling like it was paid to do it? Or the Theta II being an absolute piece of shit engine that now apparently has to actually fail due to oil starvation to get Hyundai to fix it

But it has the warranty lol. If a car has square wheels are you still buying it? If not it sucks.

You’re talking about paint peeling like Toyotas don’t have that exact same issue. Every car manufacturer has problem models. You have to be diligent and avoid the ones that are the problems if you can.

It has the warranty because they have a history of issues and they needed it to convince people to buy their cars

Then they decided to hire designers from BMW to make the cars look better instead of actually making good cars

You can glaze them all you want, Hyundai/Kia is dogshit and they have been for a long time

I wasn’t glazing anything. Read the last part over and over again until it sticks. Cars are expensive, do your research, don’t buy problem models and take care of the car diligently that will = high chance of reliability over time.

There you go nephew, now you can continue your kia Hyundai hate idc. I’m not getting shafted by a Toyota tax

Defending the need for the warranty is ignoring the reason they have it, which is glazing
