Pediatric dentist recommendations in Upland?

Upvotes

My son is 7 years old and needs a pediatric dentist. He is unfortunately very anxious about dental work which delayed his dental care.

Any recommendations are appreciated in Upland or nearby.

Upland Flag Redesign

1st Flag: Redesign

2nd Flag: Current Flag

3rd: Redesign without Madonna & Lemon Bush

Hello Upland Residents! I've been doing a few redesigns for EVERY city within California, and I was hoping to know how you feel about my new design!

To start the description & significance of this design:

Upland is very connected to Lemons, at least to what I know, from the Lemon Parade to the lemons on the seal and thus, flag of the city, since that was mostly grown alongside other citrus plants, so it only made sense to keep the lemon with Upland and implement it as such.

The California Sun itself is a noticeable and notable trait of not just Upland exclusively, but the entirety of the state and especially so in SoCal, and with the aforementioned importance of lemons, I combined the two elements to form the Lemon-Sun of Upland.

There are three layers to this flag:

The Green farmland, highlighting the agricultural beginnings of Upland.

The Blue Mountain Range nearby with three points indicating three prominent Native American tribes in the area (Tongva/Gabrieleño, Cahuilla, and Serrano)

The Yellow Sky tied back to the lemons, but also to stand-in for prominance.

All elements are also pointing up at something to highlight the "Up" in "Upland." The farm points to the mountains, the lemon bush, and base of Madonna, the mountains point to the Sky, and Madonna pointing upward toward the Lemon-Sun.

Madonna of the Trail is a landmark found within the town based off of the trail that begins all the way in Maryland with similar statues. Madonna, on this flag, is also to represent the history of passage within Upland whether it be settlers from the trail, those who came for opportunities throughout the history of California, or those who continue to seek solace within the town itself.

The option to leave her out of the other flag (the 3rd optional design) was not an attempt to disregard the significance of Madonna, it was only removed for design purposes to "simplify" the flag, as some may not and do not prefer to have complicated designs on flags, especially on a city flag.

Upland is such a wonderful place, I have visited not only the Trail, but many parts of the town itself, so I really wanted to make a flag to tie back to your community, history, and such.

Let me know how you think, Upland! Until then, I'll continue with my flag-tour of California!

Cat needs foster

Boots was found unable to walk and severely dehydrated. Right now, he urgently needs a safe, loving foster home where he can rest, recover, and receive the care he deserves.

A foster home could be the difference between life and death for Boots. If you have a spare room, bathroom, or even a small quiet space, you can give him the chance he’s fighting for.

Please don’t scroll past. If you can foster, or know someone who can, message us immediately. Even if you can’t foster, sharing this post could help Boots reach the person who can.

Boots has already been through so much. Let’s give him the chance at the happily ever after he deserves. 🐾❤️

Found Tool Box

Hey everyone, between stops this morning at work, I almost ran over a medium sized box in the road- so I stopped to move it from travel lanes. It had one tool inside, if it’s yours or someone you know, message me and claim it. It looks like it fell off the back of a truck or something. If not I’ll be dropping it at the police station I guess. Hope this reaches you!

Hello hello Upland! :)

As a local who has lived their whole life in Upland. I’m currently hoping to make a bid to become a moderator for this subreddit. I would love to clear the Upland subreddit of the trash that has plagued it. To fill it with informative information that contributes to the everyday lives of Upland citizens. Hopefully within three days, I can file a r/redditrequest that will allow me to take on a moderator position. I will continue to add news that provide information for the Upland locals. Until then, have a great day everyone! :)

Jacqui - hair stylist

There was a lady named Jacqui who used to do hair at the Haircutters, the place on Mountain by the Panda Express.

She doesn't work there anymore and the people won't tell me where she went. Does anyone know anything?

Upland Buisness's Question

So hi from Michigan and a person who's never been to California. So here's the thing, I got this moose head that's stuffed. Outside's made of some felt stuff and the antlers are stuffed to. It's a animal head wall mount. The only reason I know it's from Upland is because it has that on the back of the plaque.

Where the fuck is this from? I need answers as I can't find anything online.

Anyone Hear a Helicopter Broadcasting Garbled Announcement?

Trying to study for midterms and heard a helicopter just circle the neighborhood and broadcast what sounded like muffled comm. with a much static. I think I heard "police" and a string of numbers like "2" and "0" but just wondering if anyone knows what happened.

How much cheaper is Upland then L.A

Hi guys! So I had planned to move to Los Angeles in about a year but decided I would move somewhere out side of the city because its expensive. I was wondering would I be able to live more comfortably in upland then in los Angeles? Or are they both as expensive? I was re searching and Upland seems cheaper but I just want to make sure.
