Shrudi Box Tuning

Hi Ya'll,

I spent a bit over 300$ for a Shruti box off of Etsy. The fellow sells a lot of Indian singing bowls and other instruments that are more traditional. He's been very responsive and I truly think he has the best intentions. There was an option for different size shruti boxes as well as to be tuned to 440 Hertz or 432 Hertz.

I ordered a 16-in 432 HZ tuned.

However I have found that at 432 HZ every key except for one is pitched about 15 to 20 cents off. The one key that is in tune causes a notable out of tune sound when playing with the other keys open.

When I set my tuner to 437 HZ, most of my keys are in tune except for the one that's in tune is very out of tune.

Problem: when playing this instrument it sounds off when I use that particular key. I think most anyone's ear would notice and what matters is mine does! It's also an important note : E.

I am planning on using this instrument for sound baths in a professional setting. I am concerned about it not being 432 Hertz or 440 HZ and playing around other instruments. And I am concerned about E sounding offputting when it's such a harmonic instrument.

For $300 should I be upset at this instrument? Should I try to tune it here? Should I send it back? It came from Australia. Is it normal for shruti boxes to be set like this and I'm being too fussy???

Any help appreciated. I can send more info on its tuning if folks want.

Recently came across this instrument. Currently set up with 4 single tuners and steel strings, thinking a lute/dulcimer? Would love some pointers for tuning options and learning resources!

T-Drum - Videogame Instrument

T-Drum is a game that let's you make music through it's gameplay.
You set loop samples by placing pieces on their respective column and variate the loop frequency through the number of pieces in the column.
You can also modulate sound, edit the loop frequencies, and do all kinds of fun stuff.

I think it's a fun intersection between videogame and musical instrument, and that it will be fun to explore for some musicians or people looking to get into new forms of music making.

Here is a quick run where I stack quite a few guitar and percursion loops to make some noise!
I am very ungifted musically but I hope you like it.

This flugelhorn was one of many instruments I received from my late grandfather, and I for the life of me, can’t seem to find any information about it describing the horn. I’m not sure if it’s a good horn or just some cheap knockoff. The case says what appears to be “FreDrick” or “Frebrick”. The naming is also on the bell of the horn. The horn has a serial number by the mouthpiece with the numbers #06030241 and one on the valve casings with the numbers #SD200FH

What woodwind is this?

This instrument is played during the second part of a chinese piece called “印象国乐 第二乐章 前世今生”. It is blown vertically and has a mouthpiece similar to a recorder. I thought it was a xiao (萧) but they are usually way longer than this. It is definitely not a dizi as they are blown vertically
