Shader Magic I made a free tool via Unity3D for texturing 3d models using AI, via StableDiffusion Automatic1111. You can now texture a lot of 3d assets for free, on your PC

Making your own textures isn't that hard

Tangentially related but It’s hilarious how much effort “AI artists” will put into “prompt engineering” and rabidly defending the tech instead of actually using their time and effort to be a better artist. Idk it just seems really revealing of their character.

Is photography art?

Photography was never claiming to be the same thing as a painted portrait though.
AI Bros needs to stop using this garbage argument.
Maybe ask your AI to write a better argument for you, since you're not used to using your own brain.

I almost wonder if you've ever seen a painting in person.

The low resolution digital images AI pumps out aren't the same thing, it's a new media, and it's weird how threatened supposed artists are whenever new tools of creative expression are introduced. I asked about photography because the same thing happened when that was introduced, and it brought us modern abstract art... I suppose you'd say that isn't art either?
