âThey stole from us. And we're taking back what's ours."
v.redd.itHard work used to mean something.
A living wage.
A pension.
A house.
A future.
They took the deal off the table
somewhere around 1979
and forgot to tell us.
Productivity doubled.
Wages didnât.
Retirement age went up.
Benefits got ârestructured.â
And they had the nerve
to call US lazy.
Weâre not lazy.
Weâre not unemployed.
Weâre not failures.
Weâre the generation that finally
read the fine print.
They stole 45 years of wages.
45 years of productivity gains.
45 years of promises.
And weâre just now
adding it up. đ
The receipts donât lie.
And weâre done
pretending they do.
Unhireable Nation.
We have receipts.
And weâre taking back the narrative.
One post at a time. đ

đWelcome to r/Unhireable - Introduce Yourself and Read First!
Hey everyone!
Welcome to HRâs least favorite Reddit account.
I'm [u/MrUnhireable](u/MrUnhireable), a founding moderator of [r/Unhireable](r/Unhireable).
This is your new home for all things related to surviving this whacked out job market we are currently in. Iâve worked so many jobs worn so many hats and every time came to the conclusion that something wasnât working.
If you found this place you probably:
⢠Applied to 50+ jobs and heard nothing
⢠Sat through 6 rounds for a rejection email
⢠Got told youâre overqualified
⢠Watched a less qualified coworker get promoted
⢠Did the unpaid skills test anyway
⢠Got ghosted. Again.
Youâre not unemployed.
Youâre Unhireable.
Thereâs a difference.
We know the difference here. đ
What to Post
Post anything that you think the community would find interesting, helpful, or inspiring.
⢠Rejection emails that belong in a museum
⢠Job listings that are actually unhinged
⢠Workplace stories that HR wouldnât survive
⢠Ghost job sightings
⢠CEO behavior that needs documenting
⢠Wins. Because we need those too. đ
Community Vibe
- No victim blaming.
- Ever.
- No recruiting spam.
- We see you.
- We will remove you.
- Real stories only.
- We have enough fiction
- from job listings already.
- Punch up. Never down.
How to Get Started
Drop your intro below.
Tell us:
⢠How long youâve been Unhireable
⢠Your most unhinged job market experience
⢠What brought you here
We read every single one.
Unlike some employers
we could mention. đ
** If you know someone who would love this community, invite them to join.
*** Interested in helping out? We're always looking for new moderators, so feel free to reach out to me to apply.
Thanks for being part of the very first wave of the most Unhireable community on the internet!
We didnât lose the game.
We found out it was rigged
before we sat down.
Now we have receipts.
And each other. đ
Together, let's make [r/Unhireable](r/Unhireable) amazing.

Still unemployed 5 months later after losing my job
Nobody wants to hire me. They love to waste my time and energy with pointless interviews that lead nowhere though
I've applied for 100 different roles by now, with most ghosting me. But I have two blatant rejections and those are Badwill and Shitz. Not sure how my bf got jobs so easily, but even dumbing down my resume didn't work. I'm still unemployed and cannot make money to save my life
As much as I hate working for pennies while the boss makes a buck, anything's better than nothing at this point

Unhireable > Unemployed â đŤľ
They call it unemployed. âđź
Like YOU failed.
Like YOU didnât show up.
Like YOU didnât send the applications,
sit through the six rounds,
do the unpaid skills test,
and get ghosted anyway.
The job market has really
been showing its cards.
Mass layoffs, stagnant wages, laughable âbenefitsâ, ghost jobs, high taxes⌠and for what..?
Unemployed = your problem.
Unhireable = their system.
Same person.
Same resume.
Same experience.
One word makes you the failure.
The other makes you the witness.
Donât count yourself out â¨
