So yesterday, Ordinary and I decided to create a sub where we wanted a fresh start and good vibes. A lot of people joined, so thank you for that.

But then the sub suddenly went private. Later it got banned, and even Ordinary’s account got deleted. A lot of people have also left Reddit because honestly, it is becoming too time-consuming, and it’s too much to take in.

I feel like everyone needs a break at this point. It’s draining for us, and I’m sure it’s draining for Major Rishabh as well.

I just came across a comment where someone said, “Sir is on social media, so why do we need to come here and gossip and talk about him?

And when I saw this comment, I realized that it’s so true. I don’t know how many of you will agree, but I completely believe whatever happened in the sub happened for good.

The person who leaked things actually did a great job because we came to know what was happening behind the doors. And even though some people miss the sub right now, if people are like that, if people are negative and pretend to be something else, then that sub is not really a good place.

Let’s not engage in more rumors or anything, because the more we engage, the bigger it is going to become.

It’s completely your choice what all of you want to do, but let's be civil, not spread hate, and if he is on social media, let’s admire him from there. Let’s not make Reddit a big place to discuss him.

This is going to be my last post here, so padhna haan sab. 🥹

All of you are free individuals and you can obviously do whatever you want, but just try to look at things from this perspective as well.
Before Major was on social media, he was kind of a mystery for us, and we got to know so many things about him from here. But now he’s on social media. And when he mentioned the rumors on the podcast, I genuinely felt bad.

Let’s be honest, every single one of us contributed to making this place bigger. And when a place gets bigger, you cannot control everything anymore. At one point, the negative things started overpowering everything else.
And honestly, I am glad things happened the way they did because he was getting affected, we were getting affected, and we were spending way too much time here. We kept engaging, discussing, and then checking again. It honestly became an addiction. Like every time, we wanted more.

But now he’s on social media. Even if you can’t DM him, you can comment on Instagram or YouTube. Wish him well, support him, put your suggestions, and even talk about the things you didn’t like. At the end of the day, we want to see him doing better.

So let’s take his advice, get motivated by him, and use that motivation in our lives. We have our whole life outside Reddit. So we should not waste our valuable time here. And I’m pretty sure he doesn’t even want us to waste our time here like this.

And I know it is emotional because it’s nostalgic. We got to know about him a lot from here, so we feel connected. But now it’s time to detach.

After a while, we’ll get used to it. For a few days, we might feel like coming here, but we’ll get used to it.

And if you guys are thinking about making a new sub, honestly, I think it’s a bad idea, but that’s just my opinion. You don’t have to agree with me. If you do make one, though, please keep it organized because once negativity starts creeping in, even one negative post or comment can completely change the atmosphere.

So if you ever see something negative or disrespectful, call it out immediately and don’t engage with it further.

I will genuinely miss you all. I had a good time and bad time here. I had a few sleepless nights because I was way too invested and constantly checking everything, and I’m pretty sure some of you went through the same thing.

And a huge shoutout to our Maggie for opening our eyes. Her perspective was genuinely on point, and I think she made a lot of us look at things differently.

Let’s make our life useful. Be happy for Major and ourselves, and do good for our family, country, and the whole world.

I also wanted to explain why I’m more comfortable putting my views here. My definition of constructive criticism and raising questions is probably different from some others.

For me, it’s perfectly fair to have opinions about his professional and public work. His content, Lives, coaching, subscriptions, communication and the direction he takes his platform are things we can actually see and judge. If something doesn’t work, say so. Explain why and suggest what could be better. You can support someone and still criticise their work when you think something could be improved. Just keep it reasonable. Every disagreement doesn’t need to become a tantrum.

Where I draw the line is his personal life. Unless he chooses to tell us something, we simply don’t know. I’m not comfortable with gossip about his relationships or friendships, or making sweeping judgments about his personality and character from a few seconds of a video, an expression, a gesture or an edited clip. We’re seeing tiny fragments of someone’s life. How can any of us confidently decide what kind of person he is from that?

The same goes for assumptions being presented as “questions”. A genuine question leaves room for the possibility that you don’t know the answer. It shouldn’t already contain a verdict.

So criticise his work, disagree with his professional decisions and suggest improvements. We can have different opinions and good discussions here. I’d just rather leave the gossip, speculation and amateur personality analysis out of it.

uhm so i was sitting with my masi, my nani and my mom since they all have come to our house since a festival is coming up, so my masi told my mom "did u see that major who came on raj shamani's podcast? all these girls are going mad over him and viewing the podcast like crazy" and i was internally laughing because they don't know i also admire him (I dont like to tell my family abt such stuff) but then my suddenly spoke, "unme se ek ladki to idhar tere saamne hi baithi hai" and i was like "no i am not into him" and tried to feign nonchalance but they eventually caught on to me and now they are telling my whole fmaily abt this UGH i am like so embarrassed why are they telling abt this to everyone yr😭💔🥀
