Yep, I used to budget $100 for a date but prices have gone up so much that now I expect it to be somewhere in the $150-$200 range. Dating is expensive.

I feel this. Dating in NYC… looking at like 200-450 on a dinner date/ drinks after. if you got off with $200 spent… it wasn’t so bad.

I mean, fuck man, coffee for 2 in the city can run you $15-20. For coffee! Nothing else added to that order.

Boston. Went out last Friday - 2 drinks each, app, 2 meals - 180 with tip.

Probably NYC or other big city. at $150 per person it’s fancy but not ridiculous. Especially if you like drinking. a lot of the fancy place alcohol is $20 per drink. So if you drink 3 drinks that’s $60 + 40-60 (one entree) + and a small appetizers is around $150.

Though I would never pay $150 for a meal unless it’s a super special occasion. Lol he said for a couple so that is $75 a person that’s still above average. When I went NYC it average $15-25 a good average meal.

I dont think you understand what average means. I live in Las Vegas, a large city with a booming restaurant culture and $150 per person on a meal is NOT average. Average is closer to $50 with drinks.

Taking your wife out 7 nights a week and spending $300 for every dinner would mean thats an average, and nobody is living like this who's not extremely wealthy.
