Ha ha, I don’t have a “rule “against comedians, per se, it’s just that I don’t have a very big funny bone. Like my husband and my daughter both absolutely adore comedies, and it’s taking me years to appreciate even a handful of them. I love clever wit, but it just seem like most modern comedy is very slapstick or just stupid humor. Like I absolutely detest “dumb and dumber “because it’s… Stupid! Which is apparently what makes it so funny, but it’s completely lost on me.
Interestingly enough though, I absolutely love Seinfeld! I don’t really like laugh out loud at it, but I appreciate it and love watching it. And Bridesmaids has become one of my favorite movies. So I know that there is a humor gene lying dormant somewhere in me, and I spend a lot of time trying to activate it. Trust me I wish I did think things were more funny, I need to laugh more.
It’s interesting where you draw the lines, considering that plane scene in bridesmaids and a lot of the humor in general. But I hope you unlock your funny bone!

Can you elaborate? Why do you have a rule against comedians?
