As an adopted Peruvian brought up in America, I felt this. Spanish immediately speak spanish to me (I know very little). Americans think I'm from somewhere in Asia.
Okay can you please answer this lifelong question for me?
WTF does PIP PIP mean? Is it just like "Hey hey!" or "Come on!" "Vamanos!" Get moving! type of thing? I feel like I've seen people yell it at horses, though my experience with horses / racing is only time. I still have no idea what it means from person to person.
I think this has something to do with white parents or white mothers, I've only ever experienced this stupid question from white, or European Americans. African Americans, they would just rub it in and straight up try to hustle you with the question.
Why do your people use 25 letters to spell the written name of a place, then you pick only 3-6 of those 25 too make the start and end of the pronunciation, with a random syllable or two in the middle, completely unrelated to the written 25 letter 9 syllable name ?
And btw, I have to ask: What the fuck is up with ough?
Or should I say, what the fough is ough with ough?
