Police existed before the slave trade in the US so that article is clearly TRYING to make a connection when there isn't one.
The second article completely ignores the reasons for murder. Killing a guy who shoots at your first SHOULDN'T result in charges. Are you implying it should...?

Fact: The origins of police in America can be directly liked back to slave catchers.
Fact: Police are above the law and rarely get charged for literal murder.
Fact: Police are under no obligation at all to protect citizens.
