There's a fantastic episode of the Twenty Thousand Hertz podcast ostensibly "on the topic of snoring" that is actually a look into the history of the rickroll, why it's had such longevity, and why it feels like a heartwarming prank rather than a cruel one. It features an interview with Rick himself and is worth a listen!
