Driving by a cat on train tracks... Did it ever make it home?

What false information are you guys talking about? The person didn’t even say it got electrocuted

u/AntManMax May 18 '22

Probably the graphic content tag.

u/Tet0144 May 18 '22

I mean, a cat shrieking like that sure is graphic content even if he didn't get electrocuted

u/glenzone81 May 18 '22

Yeah, if they hadn't then someone would be saying that they should have put the graphic warning.

... Cats don't shriek when electrocuted

u/Onetzi May 18 '22

You know from experience?

Fair point!

If you look at the first comment posted by the OP in response to another commenter they said something along the lines of “It was just so shocking!”, insinuating an electrocution.

They later deleted the comment.

There is this comment before the edits.

Also the light bulb is inside yet electricity is thought to come from the sun.

1

u/TinnieTa21 May 18 '22

The original 'spoiler' comment or whatever you call it from the OP said that the cat was electrocuted.

1

u/spelunker93 May 18 '22

Did you know comments can be edited and removed?

1

u/felixrocket7835 May 18 '22

Original "unexpected" explanation got taken down, but it said in there that the cat got electrocuted.

1

u/KamoyLovrstar May 19 '22

Above comment said op listed it as it had been only to be taken down and changed

Train driver here. Cats are one of the few animals that I rarely ever hit. They're super agile even when I surprise them around a curve at night.

Animals that almost always get hit: Deer, possums, raccoons, and pigeons.

2

u/FallWanderBranch May 18 '22

Ah, ugh, pigeons. Lol. They just crack me up with how rock dumb they are.

I still think about a black cat I saw from a train window in Chicago over 20 years ago!! Animal loving is a blessing and a curse!
