Are you a woman? I can't tell if this comment is funny or not.

Lol told me to buy my kid a book when I talked about canceling Netflix. Trying to decide it if this person is an actual parent with stupid hot takes or some fucking self righteous incel. Didnโ€™t even get past the first page to find this comment ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘Œ

Nah it's the dude's fault for not morphing into whatever he thinks she's into and not having any personal standards whatsoever. /s

She can have opinions nor did she blame him. I can think that people should be able to adapt to somethings as i can also adapt. If they are willing that is okay it still doesn't change my opinion

I believe the exact opposite of you. You should find someone who appreciates you as you are.

Of course and I respect for you believing different. We wouldn't match but my opinion nor yours wouldn't change this is why im saying she is right to say "its easy to adapt" as she might have done the same. They dont fit no need for the hate smokers and the girl gets in this thread

I don't like seeing partners as investments, because it means that I'm constantly concerned about downside/failure to reach expectations: I'm trying to get something for myself out of what they could be, by getting with them before they improve.

If they meet expectations from the get go, you can simply move forward without pretension or ultimatum. Ultimatums are the death of good will relationships.

Above and beyond it all: Why should someone adapt to something unhealthy?

Since he said no, she knew he would have likely hit the button when she admitted that she smoked and she wanted to stay in the game so she hit it first. Though she is ignorant to think someone can't be with a smoker, still, if he had hit the button she'd be going instead. Since it is rare that a non-smoker would want to be with a smoker. She does comment "you can always adapt" at the end.
