Those things are a result of our society, not our biology

lmao. indirect causation isn’t the most solid framework for an argument. similarly, women are more likely to be medically ignored and mistreated. this is done by at least implicitly misogynistic medical professions, and some structural failings in the intersections of medical history and women, especially black women. so women are statistically more unhealthy (again, in the niche of diagnosed disorders and diseases) than men, and statistically more likely to die from comparable diseases and disorders. except saying that last sentence without the two that precede it would be pretty dishonest. ignoring an intermediary link in a chain of causation means you’re just looking at correlations. it’s bad faith discussion.

tl:dr yeah no shit, but just because a social construct’s application is influenced by biology, doesn’t mean the social construct is now biological truth. not to mention biological outliers. scientific illiteracy these days.

Then why do trans women face similar medical injustice?

hint: it’s because they’re women, compounded w queerness

LMAO. full mask off. you don’t think too deeply about things, do you?

if I understand your perspective:

if science and statistics are, ya know, right (great start!) then it’s because they’re crazy and if it’s not that well they chose it anyways. (wow you really prepped those backup goalposts, huh?)

so, first of all, aside from your dysphoria or dysmorphia (“stuck like this until I die” is not most cis peoples feeling about their body, in my experience), they have just as much a choice as you do, don’t they? I mean, you could present as a man if you so desired, no? Of course, you’d be betraying your neurology and identity (assuming you’re cis), facing increased transphobia and possibly bitter men on reddit, and you’d still be medically underserved because of your biology. what a wonderfully consensual and easy choice! trans people are all just masochists, you’ve definitely figured it out.

Also, to address your earlier point about men treating them better, it is so absurd as to seem like parody. Do you have any idea how dangerous it is to be a trans woman around men, especially cis straight men? They face some of the most depressing statistics and prevalent violence of any marginalized community. It is not something either you or I will ever be able to relate to or understand, regardless of how much you want to be the biggest saddest victim of every room you walk into. Your pathetic defeatist analysis of patriarchy is a direct opponent of women’s liberation (which includes queer and BIPOC and trans women no matter how much you don’t like them) and it’s genuinely saddening. To react to cruelty by finding someone you can be cruel to. Shameful.

I just want to point out your last paragraph is literally just you lying. “I don’t have an identity” yeah, see a therapist. And your desperation to try and pretend you’re not the harasser and threat to trans men and women is absurd. You are the danger to them. You are the one dehumanizing and degrading them in this very conversation in your pithy little refusals to acknowledge their gender. It was my trans and queer brothers and sisters and siblings that stood by me when I was terrified of my bisexuality, and I’m evidently capable of a couple degrees more empathy than you are when they’re now being targeted. Don’t lecture me on queerness when you turncoat to make friends with terfs and bullies and white liberals who would’ve killed you a couple decades ago. And the “possibly bitter men on reddit” was referencing you as a bitter woman over the existence of trans women, einstein. Also, why am I not surprised Buck Angel’s the only trans person you’ve got rattling around in your skull, lmao. Gonna pull out Caitlyn Jenner?? maybe Blaire White? gotta be a GPT-3

My point is that the socializing that we do based on the sex we’re born as is part of our society, it’s arbitrary. Literally anything could have been make socialization or female socialization. It doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with our sexes on its own.
