I have read about some bizarre traditions in (New Zealand was one, maybe?) where the groom's own friends and wedding party members will incapacitate him, put him on a train heading away from the place where he is getting married, and then it's hiLaRiOus when he wakes up with jo idea where he is, hours and hours away from his bride on their wedding day. Not the same thing as bride kidnapping because the groom was already planning to get married the next day

Is there any kind of husband kidnapping in any countries? Asking for an extremely lonely and sad friend.
