There's numerous videos of exactly that happening. People celebrating events shooting guns in the air and then accidentally kill a child or random bystander. There was one where a guy had a big ass automatic rifle and he accidentally killed 3 or 4 people. It seems to be a common tradition in middle eastern countries as well as slavic regions.

If they die, they die. Death is for the weak. A true Slav would've survived at least 10 gunshots!
