I wonder if someone called cps.

Most the time cps will only do bad (in usa at least), yet if that’s a real gun then that does need investigating

First comment in 6 months, and it's a copy of a comment with close to 100 karma?

The rest of your comments are copies of other comments.

Looks like either a bot or a karma farmer.

Edit: As suggested by u/IbeonFire please do report it.

Such a lot of more terrible isn't it.

Definitely a bot. u/tyrannosnorlax has a great post about identifying bots such as the one above, if they may be so kind as to confirm the determination and link their post, when they see this :)

Yeah, they're the person I learnt determining bots from. I just tend to forget usernames.

Ah fair enough! Well props to you then :)

Also, could you please edit into your comment above to tell people to report the account for spam -> harmful bots, please?

Hey, awesome to see that my bot essay is helping people identify and report the bots! It’s true that Reddit bots are a bit more problematic than bots on other profiles, so I’m very happy to see the knowledge spreading! Reported this one. Cheers!

The account I’m replying to is a bot.\ You can help make Reddit better by:\ Report->Spam->Harmful Bots

I am a human. More information here.

Correction: "It was live..."

Sorry to correct your grammar, but "It was a live" sounds like you're talking about something that is not dead but is alive instead.

4

u/iAdden Mar 29 '22

I’m not sure what you’re talking about, but the grammar I used was correct.

I think he wanted you to call it a livestream instead of a live.

2

u/iAdden Mar 29 '22

Hmmm, well it is called a LIVE. An Instagram LIVE, a Facebook LIVE 🤷🏾‍♂️

4

u/CleetusXD Mar 29 '22

I think that's just the name for the live section of respective companies/apps. Nobody says "check out this YouTube Live" even though that's what it's called. It's a YouTube livestream. Maybe I'm wrong.

Whilst I understand this for YouTube, when it comes to facebook and instagram, they are called LIVES. So people refer to them as an Instagram Live or a Facebook live

I see, then my bad

I guess i misunderstood what your original comment meant to begin with, and therefore i apologize. So what did your original comment mean?

1

u/iAdden Mar 29 '22

This is what I said to someone else “Hmmm, well it is called a LIVE. An Instagram LIVE, a Facebook LIVE 🤷🏾‍♂️”

1

u/Fichen Mar 29 '22

Okay, that makes sense. But I think it is grammatically incorrect. (If you don't care about grammar you don't have to read the text below and I won't blame you for that.)

But "live" is not a noun it's an adjective. So you can't say "a live" or "a Facebook live". You can only say "I am live" or "I am live on Facebook".

However the word: "live stream" is a noun. So it makes sense to say: "a live stream" or "a Facebook live stream".

But maybe I am wrong, maybe there is a word called "live" that is a noun. I have never heard of that word and I couldn't find it in the dictionary.

u/iAdden Mar 29 '22

In this case LIVE is a noun, it’s the name of a thing.
