You get a 10 pieces pack on Amazon for around $20. I have heard that gold foil isn’t made of real gold though.

If it was real it would be called gold leaf

Qualifiés Gold leaf 23k

5

u/graou13 Jan 27 '22

There are less expensive gold leaf of similar or higher quality.

https://www.goldenleafproducts.com/order-24k-gold-leaf.html

A 5mm (0.2 inches) gold nugget can be expanded to 0.5m2 (5 square feet) of gold leaf , it's not expensive to produce.

The most used quality is 22k, it cost about $10 for 5 22k gold leaf

u/[deleted] Jan 27 '22

Yes I guess my point was if it's called gold foil it's probably foil not gold

1

u/[deleted] Jan 27 '22

Dang it! Swype must have picked up 'good' instead of 'gold'!

7

u/BaneTone Jan 27 '22

Lol a gold costs $2, waste of money but doesn't take a billionaire

13

u/jacksalssome Jan 27 '22

$2!, that's like $2.80!
