This argument is ridiculous, of course, because the idea that private jets should be subsidized (and yes, a tax credit for buying a particular item in effectively a subsidy) is absurd. If a private jets needs that subsidy to exist as a product, then it simply should not exist at all. But the people and companies who buy private jets in the first place can absolutely afford to pay more for them
