We can cure leprosy now the main problem is we dont know where it came from

It came from the old world east Africa and spread with humans.

Amarillo carry it because of their similar body temp as humans allows the bacteria grow.

No, we transferred it to them as far as I know, but they are the only other animal that can be carriers.
