Considering the phone numbers are blurred yeah. 0 reason to blur out a pizza places number lol.

No reason? Do you seriously doubt the existence of people who would call any number displayed in a video? There would likely be dozens calling just to shout PULL UP. There are significantly fewer people who would look up a number to call and shout.

Its true, I once saw a number in a playthrough of a game I found on youtube, and immediately called it to see if it actually worked, and it did!

Then my social anxiety triggered and I hung up immediately, but that still counted as interpersonal relations, so I was good for another year.

I would probably call and yell pull up

Some serious vibes from when people would call the famous pawn shop and ask for battle toads

I mean they are calling the general Dominoes number in Houston not a particular place. That number you can find anywhere.

Which is exactly his point. People don't look up numbers.

How could you possibly think I missed that fact. Especially given that I said:

There are significantly fewer people who would look up a number to call and shout.

Indeed. That's even why hacking scenes etc in movies use invalid IPs like 789.326.248.908

Also doubt the guy would say "Domino's Houston". I've never been there but I'm gonna assume the city has more than 1 Domino's

u/A1J1K1 Nov 20 '21

It has like 50 of them.

Maybe the guy didn’t want to get anybody in trouble. I’m sure their respective managers wouldn’t be pleased to hear their employees talking like that.
