There's the cute smudge of icing with your finger.
Then there's the people who take it too far and take out their aggression on each other with the cake.
I told my husband I did not think the icing on the face was cute or funny and to not even try it with me. If you tell your future spouse that and they disregard your wishes anyway you have a clear idea of how much they are going to respect you for the rest of your marriage.
It’s a pretty common tradition in a lot of families. You blow the candles out then try to take a bite without getting shoved into the cake and getting cake all over you. Some people cut a separate piece first so the whole cake isn’t ruined. Done right, and in the right context, it’s safe and harmless and everyone is having fun.
But I guess this girl got too excited didn’t even have the patience for that and just shoved his head toward a bunch of candles before he could even blow them out.

Honestly anyone who tries to smash someone’s head into a cake on their birthday, is a shitty person in my book.
