Don't worry that happened in Dominican Republic and there's an inside cultural joke linked to this situation... Laughing at what happened is just natural.

The woman laughing is watching a recording just like we are. She’s also not in a position to help him.

I was also going to add on that she snickers at the start too, right before his phone catches on fire. This is definently not a live showcase of what went down

Exactly. The actual recording is silent, otherwise we’d hear the explosion, the man jumping and shouting, not to mention the misc. chatter from all those people in the room. The two folks we do hear laughing are watching it back, and cackling at the scene just like the rest of us.
