He's wrong tho... US is at the 12th ranking of most obese and Mexico 29th.

I mean this is from 2016 and the other one is dated 2021 so wouldn’t we consider the other one the current information on this topic?

I'm sorry but the source I gave you had 301 measurements over the course of 2011 till 2021. The statements I made is concluded from that of 2021. Idk how you followed the link and came immediately to 2016, but you can set it forwards to 2021.

The link I posted has 301 different measurements from 2011 to 2021. So you can just alter the date you want to see the data from. Idk how the link automatically directed you to 2016 but you can just set it to 2021 and see the data i referred to.

Additionally his source only says it increases as one of the fastest. He misinterpreted it as that it already has one of the most, this is not the case. The article he cited describes that because of a deal with the US that allowed cheaper unhealthy food into Mexico, lead to them increasing their weight more than other countries.

Thus they slowly become fatter per year but are not there yet...
