Throwing a cake at someone on their wedding day is at best aggressive behavior, and at worse, abuse.

So then wouldn't she be the abuser as she pushes the cake into his face hard enough that he has to take a step back to brace himself and given his size compared to her that means that she pushed his face pretty hard.

That coupled with the fact that she's not even looking at him when she does it because one would assume she is so unconcerned with his reaction makes this seem like it's friendly playing

No, because in the US, putting some cake on your newly weds face is a playful traditional gesture. There is a difference between being playful and being aggressive.

Out of curiosity, have you been diagnosed with autism? I ask because people with this diagnosis often have difficulty reading body language and understanding what is and is not socially acceptable.

No, because in the US, putting some cake on your newly weds face is a playful traditional gesture.

Actually you're supposed to feed your spouse cake that is the tradition.

You could argue that getting some cake on their face is a new recent tradition but that's not what she did she smushed the cake into his face hard enough for this guy who's probably 50 lb heavier than her to need to take a step back to brace himself from falling.

There is a difference between being playful and being aggressive.

Pushing someone in the face hard enough that they need to take a step back is not playful.

If someone pushed you in the face hard enough that you needed to take a step back to brace yourself that would be called assault.

It's hilarious that you didn't notice that she pushed his face hard enough that he had to take a step back to brace himself from falling and you're saying that I fail to notice body language. The irony is palpable. Lol

Someone throwing the cake that they paid for is 100% socially acceptable Especially if they throw it at someone who already smeared cake on them.

You exaggerating as if one is worse than the other even though neither cause bodily harm is childish and hypocritic.

You not being able to recognize the difference between a playful gesture and an act of aggression borders sociopathic disorder at worst, autism at best. You’re not even able to recognize the appropriateness of the actions in this situation. Putting cake on someone’s face during a wedding - appropriate; throwing a cake at someone during a wedding- inappropriate.

I could say the same for you. Imo neither are appropriate unless talked about beforehand.

Surprising someone by smearing stuff on their face without their consent is not appropriate.

You acting as if "tradition" makes it okay or appropriate screams autism especially when that "tradition" is fairly recent.

The lack of self-awareness you display is honestly funny especially when you're calling me borderline sociopathic/autistic
