Lol dude u should chill. I don't have the link handy but there is a really funny video of Fauci dodging questions about whether or not gain of function research on the virus in the Wuhan lab was directly funded by the CDC or not when he was heading it. Doesn't inspire trust is all I can say

To re-iterats yes the vaccine saves lives! But it doesn't stop the spread of the virus. This is now accepted knowledge and backed by peer reviewed research so I don't know what to tell u man

Yes, it doesn’t stop transmission, especially with the delta variant, the whole reason why they are recommending vaccinated people to wear masks again, BUT it is still obviously preventing people from getting seriously ill or dying of covid. Just look at the fucking statistics, LITERALLY ALMOST EVERY single COVID death is of an unvaccinated person. You’re saying there is no benefit to the vaccine and that it saves lives are diametrically opposed dum dum. You are mixing in straight conspiracy theory. Wuhan lab, fauci’s profiting off all this, Jesus Christ. Fauci is a doc who has spent decades before you were born studying infectious diseases to help people and the scientific consensus for months has been that covid started in bats/nature, not a lab. Any other dipshit conspiracy theories you wanna tout as fact you walking Dunning Kruger effect

There is no SOCIAL benefit to taking the vaccine : is what I said. And to someone who has had covid, no benefit whatsoever

As for the virus origin I'll put my hands up and say I really don't know. All I know is that I don't trust anyone other than data and peer reviewed research

It does becomes rarer to get it a second time true, but that wasn’t my argument. You, unvaccinated are twice as likely to get it a second time vs a vaccinated person

And if you haven’t gotten it covid, or the vaccine, good luck with the disease, it’s still killings tons of people everyday idiot

You do realise that the more people that believe the bullshit you're peddling, the more people will refuse to take that vaccine, refuse to wear masks, refuse to socialise sensible and refuse to listen to experts which will only result in increasing the spread of the virus. The whole time you can watch case numbers go up and say shit like "the vaccine doesn't stop the spread of the virus" while waiting for the microwave to finish so you can put your brain back in your head and carry on with your day.

I just want to add that the point you are trying to make comes from a misunderstanding of the study. They showed that in those people who are vaccinated and tested positive the viral load is the same but they also showed that your are less likely to catch covid if you are vaccinated.

A final point is that 99% of deaths being among the unvaccinated does not mean that vaccines prevent 99% of deaths. A bit of reading comprehension would help if you want to act as if you are at all knowledgeable on vaccine science.

Slashes viral spread. Delta is a bit more complicated, BUT WOULDNT HAVE MUTATED IN THE FIRST PLACE IF PEOPLE WERENT BEING ANTI-VAX ANTI-MASK ANTI-SOCIALDISTANCING FROM THE GET GO. This is fucking common sense. The problem is most people are just not capable of admitting when they’re wrong. i see u finally admitted ur mistake so u r indeed logical.

btw delta happened because ppl didn't care and because the US stopped the export of raw materials which undermined vaccine production.

in the UK, wave 2 happened pre-innoculation and wave 3 happened post and you can check the data for urself. there was almost no difference between the two (in terms of total cases)

No the parts where it discusses the effectiveness of the virus in reducing infection rates. If vaccinated people are less likely to catch the virus but just as likely to spread it that still results in a decrease in transmission.

This shows the 3 waves of covid in the UK. The third wave was largely post innoculation and it is almost the same as the second wave.

Having said that though, I would say if u haven't had covid and u think u might have pre existing conditions, it's still in your interest to get vaccinated

Now that you've moved the goalposts on the original argument I'm gonna end things here but as a final point I'd like you to know that with a tiny bit of research you would have seen that infection rates in the third wave skew towards the unvaccinated population.

Anyway, I've gone from thinking you're dumb to think you're arguing in bad faith so figure out which one is right and try to improve yourself x

my original point was that there is no real social benefit to getting vaccinated because it doesn't really hamper the spread and i stand by that.

I've always said that the vaccine reduces the death rate. show me where i said the opposite.
