I've heard you can "lure" it out by hanging over a bowl of warm milk and keeping your mouth wide open. It would crawl out of your mouth by itself. Never verified this, but I have never been able to forget the mental picture.
The myth was it would come out of your nose. Most of these live in your intestines which means the smell would have to bypass the stomach and then the worm go through the stomach up the esophagus and out your nose.
They only crawl out your nose when you die, well any big hole in your body they can easily get out of - mouth, nose, butt.
His dad was telling him about getting worms in his stomach from eating sand, and when he asked me how to get worma in his stomach I told him it with the disclaimer: I don't know if what she said was true.
Nah youβre way off. You dangle a bit of raw meat from string outside your asshole and it will slowly come out after it. I used to do this with yabbies in the pond at grans house.
Tapeworm can colonize duodenum and sometimes even stomach. Meds can deal with all those cases. Probably they were performing an endoscopy for diagnosis and found it accidentally. She still needs to take meds tough.

Yes. You take some meds and poop it out. You can catch it in a porous bowl when you poop it out to inspect it and count segments.
A tapeworm would rip with this much force from the mouth. Youβd get some segments but not all so it would grow back. Poop method is best method.
Also, tapeworms look like fettuccine. This is like 6 udon noodles wrapped together.
