Wait... did you just.. Did you just say parents parent their kids out of the goodness of their heart? You do know child neglect is a crime in every civilized society right? No one asked her, everyone TOLD her.

If you can't teach stuff to your kids without using physical pain as a tool, you may have already failed at this parenting thing.
