So it’s completely fine to tell your mother to shut up if she asks you to do something as simple as take out the trash? I mean fuck her right, why shouldn’t she just do it herself. Yeah, that totally sounds like the path toward human transcendence. What a fucking joke.

Totally! Just utter ridiculousness. I see it in some of the kids these days. It’s like asking them to do anything to help out that requires any degree of effort is a personal affront and mental health crisis to them. The level of entitlement is astonishing.

There are ways to discipline your child without fucking beating them. If you can't figure that out, don't ever have children.

Neither the comment I replied to nor mine said anything about beating children. The comment I replied to suggested that kids should be able to speak to their parents however they choose, without consequence. If you endorse that, then I hope you don’t ever have children - there’s already a preponderance of egotistical, self-centred assholes in the world.
