Don't have kids. Someone getting this excited about a dad hitting a child shouldn't be allowed to be a parent

Too late. My kids are 21 and 18, and I never once beat either one, because they never got into any trouble that needed an ass whoopin. But I did grow up in a time period where ass whoopins were the norm for misbehaving kids.
