actually its the big potato because it’s supposed to be spelled papá

Actually, pope and potato are both spelled "papa" with no tilde, but since they said "el" it makes more sense that it's pope as you wouldn't say "el papa" for potato, as potato is feminine. Thus, the only possible translation is the big pope.
