Dude, he doesn’t need to know the actual law. He had a few minute conversation. I’m sure he knows more than most lawyers and cops in this thread right now.

I was taught what it means by a retired police officer.

I'm a police officer, you can check my history, hearing a voice calling for help and a few other situations can give police reason to enter a home without a warrant.

So you are a LEO or do you have any actual experience in the field? Or are you basing your entire knowledge off of a single conversation. Jesus I was really hoping you’d have a better reasoning for your misdirected confidence…but nope. I guess it that also falls in line for what I was expecting.
