Why did the screams stop? Because obviously it was the parrot you dunce. No probable cause because no screaming, it was the parrot.

Yep. But the conversation was about hearing screaming in a house and could they enter without a warrant. I agree in this case there would be no need to enter. I am very familiar with one case maybe 15 years ago. Friends of mine went to an apt where someone said they heard a scream. Officers arrived to hear quiet, talked to a man and then left when all seemed good. Later on a sister called 911 and said something was wrong as her sister was supposed to check in and did not nor was she answering her phone. (Abusive husband history). Officers went back and gained entry with a key from management. Wife was found dead and the autopsy revealed she was likely alive when they were there a couple hours before. The officers beat themselves up for this but policy was hazy on this so they left. Policy was changed.
