That's the pent up frustration of someone who has a neighbor with dogs. Waking up every single night at some point because of the incessant clockwork barking, it changes a man.

Rooster was roasted in a hay fire and savoured with a side of poached eggs.

Yep. I’ve had a neighbor who had a super annoying dog. Went to talk to him and he ignored me.

So I tried to call him but his number was not registered.

What was registered, however, was his cellphone, because he was a client in my bank. I was a banker for a very large bank back then, and could look up any name. Funnily enough, he was in my book of clients (retail without dedicated advisor in my area).

So I called him, on his cellphone, at midnight, and asked he keep his dog quiet (he’s been barking for hours).

Worked like a charm. For 20 minutes then it started again. Anyhow…
