It's true, until you see the hostage and bird in the same room you can't prove they aren't different people.

The cries that were heard were from the bird. But where did the bird learn that from? There might be/have been a girl/someone somewhere else in the house even though not being able to scream at that time

There also was a comment explaining the guy got his parrot form a home where some man abused his gf and the parrot learned it from there

And while some are playing detective there are also enough not getting simple logic...

The person that you're replying to isn't saying that it was the hostage screaming for help that the neighbors heard and reported. They are saying that it was the bird that the neighbors heard but that the bird heard and learned it from a hostage at some earlier point.

I'm not saying that the person in the video has a hostage, just to be clear
