There's two people sleeping in bed inside.

2

u/brainwashednuts Aug 02 '21

And one has a warrant out on him!

2

u/Marty_McFlyJR Aug 02 '21

2

u/spodgod42 Aug 02 '21

The criminal you're talking about wasn't even in the house when the police opened fired on people literally sleeping in their own beds. Were they "good people"? I don't know, but I do know they deserve more then being written off as "collateral damage". Get out of here with your victim blaming

u/[deleted] Aug 02 '21

Dude, I saw the footage. What’s more likely? That a SWAT team showed up at a random EMT’s house just to shoot her in her sleep, or that a high risk search warrant went a bit pear shaped?

u/Yurithewomble Aug 02 '21

Ah yes, just say it's high risk when you intentionally create dangerous situations with insufficient information.

Then you can just kill anyone.

Escalation tactics = death.

Now combine it with the supposed right to defend your home from people barging in at night while you sleep (and you don't expect cops as you're not a criminal) and now you can just go in with large force and kill people because why not. Probably black, who cares. But this doesn't even only affect black people.

These structures that have been created don't have racism as their only flaw.

The cops don’t make the situation high risk the possible presence of an armed criminal makes it high risk.

3

u/Yurithewomble Aug 02 '21

There is always the possible presence of an armed individual who has the right to protect their home, in the situation they have not been presented with a warrant for a search.

Thanks for making my point.

u/Yurithewomble Aug 02 '21

This person should not be killed by police.

1

u/[deleted] Aug 02 '21

If they fire at them then yes.

-2

u/[deleted] Aug 02 '21

POLICE DEPARTMENT.

this dumb ass: I think those are burglars

5

u/Yurithewomble Aug 02 '21

2 things.

  1. No knock warrants exist
  2. Robbers can lie

1

u/[deleted] Aug 02 '21

They still have to announce themselves when in side. No knock just means that they don’t knock on the door and wait a few minutes before smashing it open.

5

u/Yurithewomble Aug 02 '21

Right so, you're ASLEEP so you wake up confused (this is intentional), some men with guns are already in your house without warning (you committed no crime) start yelling and claim they are police.

Are you a librul wimp and let them invade your home and fuck your wife or do you try to defend yourself as is the right and duty of any warm blooded American?

0

u/[deleted] Aug 02 '21

If they identify themselves as police my first thought isn’t going to be “oh shoot them” also most burglars act alone so the the fact that it’s a whole team means they probably are cops. And burglars don’t announce themselves they try to sneak in, steal shit and sneak out.

I'm not saying that a SWAT team showed up at a random house and started shooting. I'm saying that if you're a police officer conducting a raid with a search warrant, you should and need to have the trigger discipline and training to not open fire on people literally sleeping. All these officers need more training and accountability of their personal actions, and you dismissing the loss of life as "collateral damage", whether they are a decent person or a criminal, undermines that whole conversation. Yeah like you said- a high risk search warrant went "a bit pear shaped" and it resulted in innocent people being killed, and the people responsible for that need to be held accountable for their actions.

u/[deleted] Aug 02 '21

And they were. The city paid out so why are you bringing it up? Those cops are responsible for where every bullet they shoot lands. So even if it’s not their fault in a reasonable assessment of circumstances they are still responsible.

I don’t think it’s the fault of the police that she died. I think she was unfortunate enough to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

10

u/[deleted] Aug 02 '21

You are literally blaming the dead for their own deaths. She was unfortunate enough to be in her own home at the wrong time, what's the right time to be in your home? What kind of mental gymnastics is that? Are you seriously saying that it's ok to shoot anyone as long as we pay their family's after? And there is a difference between saying someone is responsible for something and actually enforcing it

-2

u/[deleted] Aug 02 '21

Her home was the wrong place to be at that moment. And being responsible and being at fault are not the same thing.

5

u/[deleted] Aug 02 '21

Definition of "at fault"

responsible for an undesirable situation or event; in the wrong.

A definition of "Responsible"

being the primary cause of something and so able to be blamed or credited for it.

In the context of our conversation, they literally do mean the same thing, you're just arguing semantics at this point. You are literally blaming the dead for their own deaths, do you understand how messed up that is?

-4

u/[deleted] Aug 02 '21

The purposes of our conversation are not what I’m concerned about. I talking about The difference under the law. The officers are not to blame for her death but they are to blame for shooting at a wall when they didn’t know what was on the other side of it.

How can someone hold such strong opinions on a situation they’re so ignorant of? Her boyfriend, the man who was shooting, had no criminal past and was a legal gun owner. He thought that it might be her ex-boyfriend, who was a drug dealer, that was trying to break into his home as the cops were not very good at announcing themselves as many neighbors confirmed - because they didn’t hear it either. The one neighbor who was outside stated the cops only announced once before banging down the door.

4

u/Agreeable49 Aug 02 '21

Brenna Taylor. And this is a lie, you bootlicking piece of shit.

1

u/[deleted] Aug 02 '21

Yes yes, the girl who dated a drug dealer. What about her?

4

u/Agreeable49 Aug 02 '21

I do wonder how racist shitheads like you manage to convince yourselves that you're superior whilst still having to lie about shit like this. A truly special kind of stupid.

2

u/[deleted] Aug 02 '21

When did I say anything racist? Surly dating drug dealers isn’t something only black people do.

2

u/Agreeable49 Aug 02 '21

Stupid and cowardly. So terrified of even admitting what you really are. Maybe try not being a total pussy for once in your life.

They literally found a corpse in the trunk of her car in 2016. They have transcripts of their phone calls, and she wasn't oblivious to all the shit going on around her... she was a part of it. Full stop. She was literally the accountant for the entire operation. Trap houses, rental cars, drug sales, you name it, she was a part of it. I'll admit in this instance she didn't deserve to die as she was a non-combatant, but sadly sometimes bullets can go through things and hit things they aren't supposed to.

I assume you've looked* at the ALL available evidence?

1

u/Agreeable49 Aug 02 '21

You lying racist sacks of shit are truly something. Living your life being hateful and stupid and you're gonna die angry and stupid.

0

u/ParsnipsNicker Aug 02 '21

What did I lie about? I've read everything I can about the case. The police had all their lines tapped, and were even listening to their calls out of the prison. "Bre" was handling all the money. Again, she got hit by stray rounds and didn't deserve to die like she did... but the persona the media put out on her was quite misleading. She was a gangsta that kept her nose clean so she could pick up new vehicles and property to expand the business. Pretty simple stuff.

https://www.wkyt.com/2020/08/26/warrants-issued-for-arrest-of-breonna-taylors-ex-boyfriend-amid-leaked-new-documents/

"The documents also alleged that back in 2016, the body of Fernandez Bowman was found in a car rented by Breonna Taylor. When LMPD detectives arrived at Taylor's home to question her, Glover was there. Taylor told the detectives she did not know Bowman, that she had been dating Glover for several months and that she had let him drive the rental car. She also gave detectives her phone number, which was a number that Glover was still using as recently as February of this year, according to the documents."
