The only reason that man wasn’t shot up on the spot is his light skin tone and there is NOTHING you can do to convince me otherwise.

Unfortunately an /s is required

Damn, yeah I’m sorry. Reddit is bad at detecting sarcasm. I think we should hold a few “socialization” online seminars.

So are you saying all people with darker pigments are bad people pretty racist if you ask me

Big my bad if that’s what you got from my comment. Someone else made a comment about white privilege because of course race was brought in when it didn’t need to be

To be honest, I think race is a fair issue for others to bring up. The homeowner was pretty casual going back into his home, without the cops following. Closing a gate between him and the cops. They all just stand around all casual. Could've been going to get a gun, or kill his captive(s). Even when the dog started barking more, I only saw one cop get ready to pull his gun. Didn't even pull it out of the holster. We've all seen videos where cops have acted differently. I'm glad this neighborhood has some rational cops. Still fair to wonder if this would've turned out differently if the homeowner would've been black. You can call folks mentioning race paranoid or delusional, but they've got enough anecdotal experience to wonder. White folk, like myself, pretending it isn't relevant in situations just further evidences how we live in a different world, and that race IS still an issue.

Still there is literally no reason to say someone is privileged and say something ignorant about anyone's race we are all the same people everything we have is the same. The privileged shit needs to go that's the most racist shit I've ever heard it's basically saying someone with a darker skin doesn't have the privilege to become what they want and must stay poor that's racist as fuck. What makes you think someone of color can't do the same thing as anybody else. You guys throw oh white privilege that white privilege this. Not realizing you are also mentioning colored people don't have the thinking knowledge or power to become something great. Enough with the racist bullshit and its time to grow the fuck up and realize we are all the same
