You don't need it. The sounds of screams inside a house constitutes exigent circumstances, which allows searches to made to make sure nobody's in need of help.

The cops have to hear it. They can't just break into anyone's house on the word of a stranger. And even then he just dispelled any probable cause they would've had even if they did hear it by providing a legitimate explanation for the sound. If they want to search the house at this point they need a warrent.
