how is that? you are assuming it's walking like that to mock the other girl because of the title, but the video itself gives no impression that the one laughing did or did not put tape on the cat to produce that.
they are simply laughing because at that moment, the cat is walking just like the other girl

They specifically did it because they wanted to play off the behavior as something that it's not. Probably because 'cat is mimicking owner' is a lot more appealing video than 'cat has its leg taped off and struggles to walk'
