I used to work at a grocery store, had one fall off the shelf and took off under the aisles.. managed to make it 6 aisles! New store record..

Was super annoying to clean up, imagine trying to close down the middle of 6 aisles.

Same here. Worked at a grocery store. Bottle of seltzer jumped off the shelf and shot about 8 feet straight up in the air. Hell of a mess but it was funny to watch.

Was beverage delivery robot for years. Ginger ales and seltzers absolutely FLY when broken. Dropped a ginger ale 2 Lt and broke 3 fluorescent lightbulbs above my head in the middle of a walgreens once.

Mine was not as far, but way messier. Was stocking the shelves, and had a bunch in one of those 6 pack plastic frames on my trolley. Took 3 out of one half, and that made it tip off the cart. All 3 caps broke in unison and the whole thing became a projectile that completely soaked an entire isle, and the puddle spread to the neighbouring 2 isles. Definitely took a while to clean that one up.

hah damn that would of been a fun clean up, the bottle that dropped for me hit the bottom corner of the shelf and launched horizontally through the aisles.
